How to read out loud like a pro

Here’s something you don’t see every day: an Australian reading from a book set in Texas starring a Swedish man who tries (and fails) to talk to a guy from Boston.

But that’s exactly what you’ll get when you watch this reading from The Cure for Summer Boredom on Renee April’s YouTube channel, One Chapter Wonder. Even though the regional accents of the ol’ U.S. of A aren’t in Renee’s wheelhouse, and Swedish is a language she doesn’t speak, she nails the reading.

Check it out — it’s the greatest thing I’ve seen in months!
